THE SKIN PHARMACY is the first boutique pharmacy in Singapore specialising in skincare. Located at the Basement 1 of nex (Serangoon Central) and Basement 1 of Parkway Parade (Marine Parade Road), our unique pharmacy features an open concept laboratory where you can watch your skincare products handmade in front of you in a ‘sushi bar’ like ambience.
THE SKIN PHARMACY products are made in small batches, ensuring a high level of quality.
If you cannot find what you want on the shelf, ask the pharmacist to make something personalised for you on-the-spot. We can even modify existing products to suit your personal needs. For example, add extra moisturisers to our Silky Smooth SPF 30 Sunscreen. Or your favourite scent or colour to the Natural Shower Gel. Or have a 2-in-1 serum blended specially suited for your skin type.
And if you are not sure what your skin type is, ask the pharmacist to do a computerised skin analysis for you. You can also get your skincare medications dispensed here.
THE SKIN PHARMACY supports the eco-friendly initiative. As far as possible, THE SKIN PHARMACY incorporates biodegradable ingredients into its formulas.

Started by pharmacists and managed by pharmacists, The Skin Pharmacy blends medical knowledge, customer care and top-grade products all into one.
As pharmacists, we are experts in medications and understanding formulations. Our pharmacists have a strong interest in skincare and we are constantly upgrading ourselves by attending courses related to dermatology and cosmetic science. We are able to help you manage uncomplicated skincare conditions such as acne, pigmentation and general skincare health.
With many combined years of experience in community pharmacy, our pharmacists are very customer-centric and we strive to serve you as best as we can.

Mei Hui is the Managing Director of The Skin Pharmacy. She is a registered pharmacist with both the Singapore Pharmacy Council and the Australian Pharmacy Council.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Victorian College of Pharmacy (Monash University) in 1994. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Silver Medal).Since graduation, Mei Hui has practised as a hospital and retail pharmacist. She also has experience in regulatory, sales and marketing and her last position was as a Group Product Manager in a pharmaceutical company.
In 2009, Mei Hui started The Skin Pharmacy with her husband, Min-tsek, out of a passion to serve the community while enjoying herself. Mei Hui manages the daily operations of the business.
She practises in Parkway Parade on Saturdays and in nex on Sundays.
LYE YEE PENG
Yee Peng graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 2002. She joined our team as a Pharmacist/Manager in July 2010.
Yee Peng has a vast experience in community pharmacy. Prior to joining The Skin Pharmacy, Yee Peng worked as a Senior Pharmacist in Watson’s Personal Care Stores for 3 years and Guardian Pharmacy for 4 years. She also has a Diploma in Retail Management from the Singapore Retailers Association.
Bilingual in both English and Mandarin, Yee Peng relates well to all customers from all walks of life.
Yee Peng mainly practises at our NEX outlet.
DOUGLAS ANG
Douglas joined our team as a Pharmacist in March 2012. Douglas graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2006. After graduating, Douglas worked for Unity Pharmacy for 5 years before joining The Skin Pharmacy this year.
He has a strong interest in community pharmacy as well as dermatology and skincare. He has attended courses on retail operations and customer service organised by the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies.
Douglas injects dynamism and energy to our team with his warm and bubbly personality.
Douglas is based mainly at our Parkway Parade outlet.
CHAN FENG EE
Feng Ee graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from the National University of Singapore in 2010. She started her career as a pharmacist with the National Healthcare Group, working in Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic.
Her work experience at the polyclinic has allowed Feng Ee to learn about the various skin conditions commonly seen in the community. She comes with a lot of enthusiasm to learn and willingness to apply her knowledge.
Feng Ee joined The Skin Pharmacy in April 2012. She practices in both nex and Parkway Parade and will spearhead our newest outlet at Jem (Jurong East)
LAU MIN-TSEK
Min-tsek is a Director of The Skin Pharmacy.
He graduated with an honours degree in Pharmacy from the Victorian College of Pharmacy (Monash University) in 1994. He is also a Member of the Singapore Society of Cosmetic Scientists.
Upon graduation, Min-tsek worked in a retail pharmacy for three years before leaving to take over his family’s pharmaceutical manufacturing business.
With his vast experience in the manufacturing and formulation of skincare products and pharmaceuticals, Min-tsek is responsible for the research and development of The Skin Pharmacy skincare products. He also oversees the manufacturing facility which has been in operation for over 40 years.
Miin-tsek is currently a consultant to our team.
